The Retia Walker Scholarship Fund

The Retia Walker Scholarship Fund is to provide merit and/or need based scholarships for students with a 3.0 GPA or higher who are majoring in Human Ecology with an interest in teaching, working with young children and/or nutrition education, travel to participate in professional development meetings and book scholarships for students. If such time there are no Human Ecology programs at UMES, funds shall be used for programs in the Education Department.
