The Pentagon Chapter of Blacks in Government Scholarship Fund

To support students from Washington DC Metropolitan area (Northern VA, Prince George’s County, MD and or Montgomery County, MD) who are matriculating at UMES. Requirements: 1) Cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75 2) At least a sophomore or higher 3) Demonstrated financial need, best exemplifying qualities of leadership and community service 4) Students must be from the Metropolitan Washington DC area 5) Student awards are $500 per semester per recipient 6) Scholarships are renewable as long as student(s) maintains a 3.0 GPA
